In recent post on Facebook, it is said that a frontline Senator in the All Progressives Congress, APC might quit the party if the former Akwa Ibom state secretary, Obong Umana Okon Umana
joins the party. See the write up below.
“This man has. promised to quit the APC if Umana Okon Umana is admitted into the APC to contest the governorship race on the APC platform.
In his word; “I will rather go back to the PDP and join the governor to produce the next governor of this great state than habour Umana under the same roof in this life”.
This man (name witheld) has started discussion using some top-sons of Ikot Ekpene to wet the soil for him. The people so consulted have expressed happiness with the development which they described as timely and assured him that the governor as a father of the proverbial prodigal son in his usuall magnanimity will alway be a true father. As an in-law, you are a blood brother and a member of the "GREAT ANNANG FAMILY".This is good news in Akwa Ibom state. The sign of peacefull election in 2015. Shout/say/comment a big WELCOME to the brave Senator.”
