News making the rounds today has it that an Abuja High Court has given an order
restraining the Akwa Ibom PDP from presenting Mr Udom Emmanuel as the candidate of the party in the 2015 governorship election in Akwa Ibom state.The order came following a motion brought before the court by 22 out of the 23 PDP governorship aspirants, seeking an order restraining the party from using the result of the December 8 governorship primary election in the state for the purposes of determining who becomes the governorship candidate of the PDP in the state.
The order will subsist till January 11, when the court is expected to resume hearing. see pictures of Court order below!
