AKS 2014 PDP PRIMARIES: ASA congratulates Udom Emmanuel, pledges support in general elections.


Students of Akwa Ibom State under the auspices of Akwa Ibom Students Alliance (ASA) have congratulated the immediate past Secretary to
Akwa Ibom State and gubernatorial hopeful Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel on his  emerging victory at the just concluded PDP Gubernatorial Primaries in the State.

In a press release signed by the Chairman, Akwa Ibom Students Alliance (ASA) and immediate past Vice President Special Duties of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Ubon Marcus, the students described Udom's landslide victory as an overwhelming expression of the will and determination of Akwa Ibom people to attain sustainable development come 2015.

Comrade Ubon Marcus commended the People's Democratic Party for conducting a peaceful, free, and fair primaries stating that the party has once again affirmed it's superiority over other political parties in Nigeria by upholding the tenets of democracy in its practices. He saluted the state Governor, Obong Godswill Akpabio for the uncommon transformation the state has witnessed under his reign and wished him the best as he moves to the National Assembly to continue his good works, and emphasised that the organised students movement will vote for the PDP come 2015.
