Introducing: Diva on the Rise…Ainem!

In Nigeria, very few female artistes exists that can be called divas on all counts. 2012 has seemingly thrown out some of the best female artistes the country has ever seen. However, South-South has seemingly been MIA (Missing in Action) in this regard but the story is looking up as Ainem makes her entry.

Ainem, whose real name is Inemesit Pius, is a sensational R’n’B/Pop fly girl who is gifted with a voice that is soul lifting. The Akwa Ibom state born songstress, composer and prolific stage performer is a 300 level student of History and International Studies, in the University of Jos, Plateau state.

An ardent lover of music from childhood, she takes the bull by the horns in 2012 by recording two singles, ‘Same Girl’ and ‘So Fly’ which kicks her up  into the Nigerian music industry. With influences like Tiwa Savage, Tuface Idibia, Beyonce, P-Square and Chris Brown, Ainem is set to make an indelible mark with her kind of music and is bound to become another music diva.

Already, her songs are enjoying rotation on radio stations across major Nigerian cities.
