Gold House Productions Unveils Star Prize for “Face of Niger Delta Cultural Pageant”


The third edition of the Face of Niger Delta Cultural Pageant is taking shape by the day as Gold House Productions, organizers of the event gathered pressmen from acroos various media houses in and outside Akwa Ibom state for a
press briefing on Friday, 5th September 2014 to give them first hand info about the details of the pageant.

In his address, Mr. Kelly Godwin Attah, CEO of Gold House Productions said that the event is more than just a beauty contest, but a gathering of the nine Niger Delta states that make up the Niger Delta Development CommissionNDDC to celebrate their rich cultural heritage under one roof. He also added that the winner of the contest will not just be another decorated queen, but an ambassador for the region and a model for other youths to emulate.
 
Also in attendance at the briefing was Apostle Sam Eka, the Speacial Adviser to Governor Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State on NDDC. He commended the Gold House team for the idea of the event and said the Akwa Ibom State government is solidly behind it. Apostle Sam Eka also unveiled and inspected the star prize which is a 2014 Kia Rio Saloon car.
 
Already the auditions for the Calabar zone was held with the train moving to Port-Harcourt and Benin cities for auditions to take care of Rivers, Imo, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo and Ondo states respectively.
The nine finalist will represent each of the states at the grand finale on the 10th of October 2014 at the Ibom Le’Meridian Hotels & Golf Resort.
