‘Naijstani’ makes 5th nomination at the Festival International du court-Me’trage

 

Afro-Asian film, ‘Naijastani’ has clinched its 5th nomination at the
recently held French film festival – Du Court Me’trage. The annual film festival which just made its 22nd edition in the capital city of Paris brought together film directors, producers, critics, distributors under one roof for the promotion of good motion works.

Out of the 300 entries, 31 nominations made it t the festival, which cut across countries in Europe, Asia-India, and one country from Africa–Nigeria represented by Mr. Eddie Brendan of Creative Studios Nigeria, the writer and Director of ‘Naijastani’.

The first prize winner went home with 8,000 Euros (2.56m Naira), while the second took away 3,200 Euros (1.26m Naira).

Late last year, the movie made an entry into the African international film festival- AFRIFF in the city of Lagos. It featured films from all over Africa.
