It’s been a tough 5 months which saw Joe Blue and Chinwo Nnenda at the finals of the
2012 editions of the Nigerian Idol contest were Mercy took home crown as the 2012 Nigerian Idol Winner.
She beat out Joe Blue (Joe Anthony Ekpo) after an exciting night that featured 3 songs each. The show finale featured performances from WizKid, W4, M.I & Chuddy K.
Mercy carted away with $100,000 (N15m), a recording contract and an SUV.
