Following the success of the first edition, “Connect Series” enters its second with more anticipation. The connect series is a series of conversations between entrepreneurial startups and leaders with the aim of proffering solutions to problems and challenges that affect the entrepreneurial
ecosystem.It is poised to be a melting point for major and minor businesses to 'connect' and collectively seek ways to adopt the economic, structural and mental facilities that abound in the region to ensure growth of their businesses.
The meeting is structured with two major parts. The first are Talks by a panel of 'experts' dissecting headlined topics discussed in each series’. The second part is closely followed by a ‘Question & Answer’ session in which questions are raised and addressed by the panel, Roothub residents and attendees.
Each series' panel are made up of experienced experts in different fields of endeavour and are selected to reflect the different topics in the series. Topic for discuss in this edition is “nailing a Startup”. This will highlight challenges faced before and during the startup stages of a business, expose common mistakes and possible solutions.
‘Connect Series’ is a project of The Roothub - South-south's premier entrepreneurial ecosystem and attendance is by invitation only. It is billed to hold this Friday, 1st August 2014 at the VIP Lounge of the Ibom e-Library Complex, IBB Avenue, Uyo by 11am. This edition is supported by UK Daniels Premium Table Water, Fresh Bites, HypePR+, Onuk Inkteractive and BreakForth Films.
