A dexterous one on the saxophone, with over a decade of experience in an absolute smooth blend of our day to day songs to grace various occasions which leaves his audience more than
thrilled.
He has an educational background in the sciences from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta from where from he had been involved in organizing various musical events.
Obasan Oluwangbemileke better known as Laykay he has shared the stage with the likes of Cobhams Asuquo, Lara George, Folake Umosen, Frank Edwards, Freke Umoh, Donnie Mc Clurkin, Israel Houghton, Alvin Slaughter, Lionel Peterson to mention but a few.
Though he plays a wide variety of musical instruments, but fell in love with Sax in 2002 when he caught sight of the soprano Sax for the first time and was used extremely well. “At that point I knew I was going to play the Sax…it affords me the opportunity of pouring out exactly how I feel inside of me.”
Laykay prides himself as a 'Music Service Provider' which has also earned him performance at events that have been aired on national television stations severally and also performing with bands that reel out tunes to the crème de la crème of the society.
He is currently rounding up work as his debut single will be dropping soon online!
