Last week, Uko Umoh who is the publisher/CEO of highly reckoned newspaper, Community Pulse buried his mom. A rundown of activities preceding the interment of late Dr. Lucy Eboh, mum of the publisher shows that there was lying-in-state at the deceased’s compound, procession at the University of Uyo, commendation service at the CBN Auditorium, UNIUYO while the church service took place at St. Peter’s Catholic church, UNIUYO.
However, the grand event was the visit of the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio to the family of the deceased where he paid glowing tribute to the late varsity don and most importantly, condole with ‘Uko Biafra’ on the irreparable loss.
