Born Andikan Smart Usanga a.k.a Illrhymes, hails from Akwa Ibom State. Illrhymes is a Hip-Hop/Ragga artist who only in 2010 took his music career to a professional level and has since managed to garner critical acclaim and achievements such as; Winner of Golden Mic Competition, the Winner South-South Grab the Mic Tournament etc.
The former member of UY Confidential and also a member of Cartel...has always been a functional arm to the industry in the South.
Having been described by City Pages as an artiste with “an incredible gift” (the run off groove) which possesses “the kind of assured, joyful, ruminative voice.
The song "DRUMMA", his latest single which is making waves on-air, has a nice ring to it,accompanied with a lovely ragga rhythm and not forgetting it’s beautifully rendered instruments, making this a song to have you swaying as Illrhymes does his thing on it.
The video for "DRUMMA" was shot by Image Faculty one of the best cinematographers in the south.Illrhymes is currently working on an album which is expected to be released end of this year.
