The Young designer of the year 2015 will require 10
Contestants to showcase original red carpet worthy collection of 5 dresses
each, including, Haute Couture, Bridal, Evening Wear, Casual & Swimwear,
designed in fabrics
of their choice.
Women’s wear designers shall design women outfit only while
the Menswear designers shall design men outfit only. Designers will be judged
on overall Concept, Creativity, Fit, Colour and Finishing.
The winner of the female and male category will go home with
N150k and N100k respectively. other prizes include, 3 months fashion design course
at Fashion Academy Lagos, 3 months internship at Feron Nigeria, 1 year free
Corporate Branding by Obufaa Ltd, Professional LookBook by Hanbuck Lens, Cover
feature & Fashion spread in Plumage magazine, Model support by K-Mode
Management; and 1 year Online support by www,wetinhappen.com.ng.
The award holds on the opening day of Uyo Fashion Foward II
