British-Nigerian Kid star Mya K is getting set to make her South Africa debut come May 4 at the African Global DJ Awards holding in Santon Convention Center, Johannesburg. The 11year
old got invited to headline performances at event just few days after the release of her latest single titled ‘My DJ’ in the United Kingdom and Nigeria simultaneously. Since dropping here first single 'I'll survive' in 2011 (which was nominated for the NMVA), Mya K has been a recurring decimal in d world music scene. Amazingly talented and energetic, Mya has won several award both in Africa and the United Kingdom, plus has been awarded with a couple of scholarships as well.
About Mya K
Mya was Born May 5, 2001 in the United Kingdom. Christened Mya Kinlock at birth, she is of British - Nigerian descent. Now a High School student,this rare gem began to study singing, dancing and acting at the age of two and went professionally solo in 2010. She has dropped 7 singles including collaborations with Nigerian acts Vector and Jaywon.
The incredibly gifted kid has performed on international stages and has recorded with major production studios in Nigeria and abroad. The new single "My DJ" is released under newly signed record label, ROCK TOWN MUSIC and was produced by Edmond for TheorySound Production.
