The 2014 edition of the United Nations International Day of Peace has come and gone, a day dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace among
people and nations. This year's theme was the ‘Right of People to Peace’.
The promotion of peace is vital for the full enjoyment of all human rights. United Nation invites all to honour cessation of hostilities, to commemorating the day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace. According to Dear Kelly, 'All we need in Africa, Nigeria & Niger Delta is Peace'.
